Piedmont Wine & Food Promotions at Pete’s Place

From Italy’s second largest region, a foray into Piedmont’s gastronomy is commonly associated with slow dining – unhurried meals and bold wines. From 1 to 31 August 2015, enjoy a specially created Piedmont wine and food menu with a choice selection of white and red wines from the region which can be paired with a trio of starters and mains prepared by Chef Andrea Bontempi at Pete’s Place, Grand Hyatt Singapore.

Famous for their use of raw vegetables for antipasti in Piedmont, the bagna cauda is a dish of pinzimonio (Italian-style crudités) accompanied with garlic and anchovy hot sauce. The taste of Northern Italy will be further highlighted through Chef Andrea’s mains including ravioli al plin (braised Barolo beef ravioli, parmesan cheese, butter sage sauce – see main image above), and tomino (grilled tomino cheese wrapped in parma ham, ‘bagnet rose bagnet verd’ sauce), each priced at $24++. This promotion is available during lunch and dinner.

Guests can choose from eight red and white wines native to Piedmont to complement their meal. From bold to elegant flavours, each of the wines has been handpicked by our resident sommelier and available by the glass and the bottle.
