New Rock Salt Hakata Ramen at YOSHIMARU Ramen Bar

Located at Holland Village, YOSHIMARU Ramen Bar has been serving up bowls of piping-hot Hakata ramen. This ramen specialty eatery recently combines its distinctive homemade ultra-thin noodles served in rich and flavourful Tonkotsu (pork bone) broth with an ingredient widely famed for its health benefits – rock salt. With its high content of over 50 essential minerals, rock salt has been used for centuries to aid digestion and for its immune-enhancing properties.

The new Rock Salt Hakata Ramen ($12 – see main photo above) is prepared using the original Shio Dare (塩醤,salt sauce) to create the authentic, same great tasting ramen as those served in YOSHIMARU’s outlets in Japan. Topped with mouth-watering char siu, Japanese soft-boiled lava egg, generous servings of bean sprouts and garnished with fried minced garlic and spring onions, the new Rock Salt Hakata Ramen makes a satisfying bowl of hearty goodness guaranteed to warm the heart and stomach.

Complete the meal with new side dishes on the menu: enjoy the Kushikatsu or pork cutlet skewers ($3.50/ skewer), Corn & Butter ($4.50) prepared with the original ramen shoyu (YOSHIMARU soya sauce) from Japan and the Chicken Tempura ($4.90) with the Yuzu Kosho dipping sauce for a real taste of Hakata, Kyushu style.
