This June, up the ante of your Father’s Day celebrations and turn your afternoon dim sum and/ or evening meal into a special feast with Peony Jade’s Steamed Bao with Roasted Duck and Glutinous Rice 玉河畔糯米烧鸭寿桃包. These traditional fluffy and delicious parcel-packed buns (bao) are given a new twist with its layers of roasted-seasoned crispy duck (instead of the old-school pork belly) and the flavoursome Cantonese-styled steamed glutinous rice with cubes of Chinese sausages (estimated 50gms) complemented by a generous drizzle of handmade sweetened hoisin sauce.

Made fresh daily, the Peony Jade’s Steamed Bao with Roasted Duck and Glutinous Rice 玉河畔糯米烧鸭寿桃包 are priced at $24++ for 6 pieces (dine-in subject to 10% service charge) for dine-in and takeaways. A one-day advance order is required for takeaways. They are available at both Keppel Club and Clarke Quay for both dine-in and takeaways from 9 to 15 June 2014.
