Outpost Bar & Bistro, the latest live music venue opens at St James Power Station. Established with a passion to unearth and promote homegrown artistes, Outpost is more than just a cozy escape for friends to gather and enjoy great music, food and drinks. It is also a launch pad for veteran and upcoming local artistes to showcase their talent.
The eclectically furnished bar has been designed around the guests’ listening experience, from the solid oak floor paneling to the warm matt black interior are all designed to give the best acoustics no matter where your table might be. Weekly entertainment highlights include the All Out Music Weekend, featuring crowd favorites like HubbaBubbas, AlphaBeat and Juni Goh, Originals Tunesday with Yuji Kumagai, an open mike night where anyone can bring in original performances, Women Out Wednesday, and Sunday Swing with Rob Collins.
Wash the stress off your shoulders and indulge in signature cocktails at Outpost, including the Outpost: Ice and Fire ($20), a double-barreled invention that is both ice-cold and on fire in the same glass. Alternatively, choose from a premium selection of over 100 beverages from the menu and complement your choice of familiar bites from the bar.
The classic bar bite favorites include the Outpost Trio Mini Burgers ($18), Homemade Crab Cakes ($16), Truffle Sautéed Button Mushrooms ($15), hand-stretched pizzas ($16-$22), as well as the not-to-be-missed homemade signature sauces by Chef David Lui which come in four distinctive flavours: Pommery Mustard, Sweet Chilli, Truffle Tartar and Curry Mayonnaise.
