Who doesn’t love Sunday brunch? Just about the only thing better is when it comes with an amazing view. Perched on level 32 of the new Westin Singapore at Asia Square Tower Two, Seasonal Tastes is taking buffet lovers to new height with its stellar Sunday Brunch. With welcoming seasonal dishes and great panorama views of the picturesque Marina Bay and the South China Sea, this new hotel’s signature dining venue is the perfect place to spend a lovely Sunday with your family and friends.

With a gorgeous panorama as your backdrop, it just makes the meal all the more enjoyable. If that backdrop isn’t enough to wow you, their Asian to international-inspired brunch menu will certainly do the trick. With live DJ from The Netherlands playing soulful house lounge music, the seemingly endless buffet features everything from fresh seafood to grilled meats to delectable desserts—with plenty to choose from in between. Seasonal Tastes is also one of the very few restaurants in Singapore to bring a “fine-dining” touch to its all-you-can-eat buffet spread. Be it the starters or the mains, each section is tastefully arranged and presented. Small portions of food are dished up each time to make the lineup look exclusive and enticing.

Start the meal with the salad bar followed with freshly baked breads with a good selection of cheeses and cold cuts from the cheese and charcuterie section. The crustacean station is one of the Sunday Brunch highlights. An eye-popping array of fresh seafood such as prawns, shellfish, crab claws, lobsters and freshly shucked oysters. The fresh oysters were huge, briny and fresh and the sweet, tender crab claws were a true delicacy.

Another main highlight has to be the grill station of assorted tender meats such as angus grain fed prime rib, wagyu rib eye, angus grain fed t-bone steak and angus grain fed tenderloin. With Executive Chef Sven Cepon manning the station whipping up perfectly grilled and roasted meats à la minute, our favourite was the angus grain fed t-bone steak. The steak was grilled to perfection, with crispy searing on the outside and it was moist and juicy. The meat platter also came with a large baked potato topped with sour cream, scallions and generous serving of crispy bacon bits.

The sumptuous buffet also features an array of other Asian and European dishes such as mutton curry, sushi, tandoori king prawns, king prawn thermidor, foie gras, slow roasted suckling pig and baby lamb with greek marination from the carvery, salmon with mustard crumb, butter glazed asparagus and more. If bloody mary’s are your thing, try the do-it-yourself “Bloody Mary Bar” at the Sunday brunch.

Seasonal Tastes also has a tempting dessert selection to complete the meal. Apart from a variety of cakes, there’s a chocolate fountain and an ice cream teppanyaki station where your favourite flavour and toppings are mixed together on the chilled marble slab. The hotel’s signature and specially crafted chocolate pralines and macarons, served in bite-sized portions, are a must-try. We also love the mandarin orange sorbet and chocolate ice cream from the ice cream counter.

As you savour each and every bite of this extravagant Sunday meal, enjoy the stunning scapes of the city skylines and sea view. For an even closer look at the postcard-worthy vistas, request a table near the floor-to-ceiling windows of the restaurant.

The Sunday brunch is priced at $75++ per person with free flow of iced tea, juices and soft drinks. If you like to have your glasses constantly bubble to the top with Veuve Clicquot champagne or filled with wine and cocktails, pay $110++ per person and you can eat and drink to your heart’s content without breaking the bank. Complimentary parking is also included if you dine at Seasonal Tastes Sunday Brunch.
