Let your 2014 celebrations continue at the recently relaunched ‘The Art of Sundays’ Champagne Brunch at InterContinental Hotel Singapore. Enjoy delightful live music from the Lounge singer and pianist as you eat, drink and be merry.

Specially crafted by Executive Chef Eric Neo, the hearty and Asian-infused specialities include Chilli Crab Linguine, handcrafted dim sum from signature Cantonese restaurant Man Fu Yuan and pass-around canapés like Beef Cheek Rendang on Rice Cracker, Homemade Seafood Otah Otah, Braised Itek Sio in Mantou inspired by InterContinental Singapore’s Peranakan heritage. 

The brunch also includes seven live cooking stations. Start with freshly made Eggs Benedict with Smoked Salmon and Hollandaise, Eggs En Cocotte with Caviar or have freshly sliced sashimi. Other must-tries include the pan seared foie gras, premium 365 days grain-fed US beef, Mini Burgers with Seafood or Kurobuta Pork and Lobster Cheese Ravioli. Seafood lovers will enjoy the freshly shucked Fine de Claire, Tasmanian and FannyBay oysters or “pot-steamed” Australian mussels in sauce à la Mirepoi.

Alongside appetizers are succulent seafood like Boston lobsters, Alaskan King Crab, gourmet charcuteries of Jamon Iberico de Bellota aged 30-36 months, Wagyu Beef Pastrami, Duck Rillettes and 12-types of artisanal cheeses from France, Spain, England and New Zealand served with Crackers, Lavosh, Dried Fruits and Fruit Paste. For the main, try the Chef’s signature such as Roasted Pork Belly, Seafood Paella and Grilled Cod Fish.

The dessert spread includes an array of prettily crafted pastries by award-winning pastry chef Steven Ong like Chocolate Royale Hazelnut Crunch, Floating Island on Sarawak Pineapple and Panna Cotta with Basil and Mint. Have delicious fun with the chocolate fountain with arrestment of fruits and nuts, Petit Fours Selection including Macarons and everyone’s favourite ice cream bar.

Another highlight is the mobile food carts that will come by your table and serve you delightful treats to end your meal. Watch them serve up the interesting Crepe Suzette. Paired it with an Irish coffee which they can prepare for you with choice of whiskey or vodka instead of Irish cream.

There are welcome drinks like Mojito and Bloody Mary. Main deal is the free-flow popular champagne delight, Veuve Clicquot Brut Yellow and in special Magnum bottles. The refreshing Pink Elephant Rosé is another sweet sparkling option. If you’re looking for something different, there’s even a mixologist who will come by and concort something specially tailored to your wish list.
