Eurasian cuisine is a glorious mix of Asian and European flavours. The blends are rich in variety ranging from fiery hot chilli-mustard-vinegar flavoured curry to a mild cinnamon-garlic-onion flavoured stew. From 15 to 26 October 2013, you will get to indulge in the riches of Eurasian cuisine at The Fullerton Hotel’s Town Restaurant Buffet. Town Restaurant’s Sous Chef Sunny De Costa, who is of Eurasian descent, will be whipping up dishes that are unique to Eurasian tradition using his very own family recipes that have been handed down through generations.

The buffet will include traditional Eurasian dishes such as Debal Galinhia, better known as the Devil’s Curry, Roasted Whole Chicken with Debal Spices and Vegetables and Pesce Sambal Tambreneu (Fried Fish with Tamarind Sambal). Chef De Costa’s Devil’s Curry is made with fresh and dried chilli, blue ginger, lime juice, candlenut, and mustard seed, and cooked with Smoked Bacon Bone and Sausages. The spread will also comprise other tantalising dishes such as Semur Porku (Braised Pork with Onion and Garlic Gravy), Eurasian style Baked Seafood, and Stir-Fried French Beans with Shrimps and Bean Curd.

That’s not all. The buffet will also encompass a sumptuous selection of salads, sushi and sashimi, along with well-loved Eurasian and local desserts like Sugee Cake (Semolina Butter Cake), Pineapple Tarts, Chendol (Shaved Ice with Palm Sugar and Pandan Rice Flour Jelly), Ice Kachang (Shaved Ice topped with Red Beans, Corn and Peanuts) and Bubur Cha Cha (Coconut Milk with Sweet Potatoes and Yam).

Town Restaurant’s Eurasian Heritage buffet will take place from now to 26 October 2013, from 11:30am to 2:30pm for weekday (Monday to Friday) lunch and from 6:30pm to 10:30pm for dinner on Sunday to Tuesday at $53++ per adult and $26++ per child (6 to 11 years old).

In addition to the spread of Eurasian cuisine, enjoy ocean fresh seafood every Thursday to Saturday at $69++ per adult and $34++ per child (6 to 11 years old), and an assortment of barbecued items including grilled lobster at $89++ per adult and $44++ per child (6 to 11 years old).
