Still planning your ghoulish gatherings for Halloween? Why not head down to Cafe Melba, a rustic eatery in a lush green environment in Goodman Arts Centre. This Halloween, FIJI Water presents “Thursday Cinema Under the Stars” at Café Melba, featuring a special 3-course FIJI Water Halloween Set Dinner, complimentary movie screenings and a gourmet picnic basket to complete the outdoor cinema experience.

FIJI Water Halloween Set Dinner
The FIJI Water Halloween Set Dinner is designed by Owner-Chef Kacey Whaitiri-Roberts, who previously worked at Gordon Ramsay’s three-Michelin star restaurant in London, Claridge’s. Start the 3-course “FIJI Water Halloween Set Dinner” with a choice between the Wild Mushroom Soup, made with four different types of mushrooms and truffle oil, or the refreshing Saku Tuna Carpaccio accompanied with Guacamole and Bloody Mary. For the main course, the Oven Baked Sea Bass, is complemented with a delicious consommé prepared with FIJI Water. Known for its clean taste and soft, smooth “mouthfeel”, Chef Kacey uses FIJI Water in the consommé to “result in rounded, purer flavours”. The other choice of main course boasts a local touch with an interesting spin- Beef Rendang, featuring tender beef in coconut milk, ginger and spices, served with shoe-string fries and pizza bread. Finish off with the Peach Melba, a sweet treat consisting of vanilla ice cream, raspberry purée and toasted almonds.

The FIJI Water Halloween Set Dinner is available on 24 and 31 October 2013 from 6pm to 10pm (last order for dinner at 9.15pm) at $45++ per person per set, and includes a 500ml bottle of FIJI Water.

“Thursday Cinema Under the Stars” – Halloween Edition
Enjoy complimentary Halloween-themed outdoor movie screenings at Café Melba with a selection of family-friendly cartoons such as Monster House (24 October) and Hotel Transylvania (31 October) at 7pm, or catch some old-school horror such as The Craft (24 October) and Army of Darkness (31 October) at 9pm.

To immerse in the fun of an outdoor movie, grab a gourmet picnic basket and be seated on the lush green field outside Café Melba. The picnic basket comes with two bottles of FIJI Water (500ml), and a selection of snacks such as nachos and kachang puteh, choice of mini fish & chips or mini burgers and a picnic mat to complete the experience.
