Calling all foodies, there’s something even better than enjoying a great meal at a top restaurant –being able to pay less for it!

That’s why we’re so excited about the upcoming Singapore Restaurant week, 7-13 October, where a 3-course dinner at a participating restaurant costs $35. Lunch is at an even more palatable price of $25 for 3 courses. But seats run out real fast, so we recommend you grab your spot once the online reservation opens on 11 September. Better still, register yourself for priority booking, which allows you to book two days earlier or from 9 September.

In fact, we’re not waiting until bookings officially open to make our choice. We’ve already started checking out which are the participating restaurants in advance so we can pounce on the reservations once open.

Being picky eaters, choosing from the 129 restaurants isn’t easy. Good thing there are restaurant ratings on the website to help us. Interested diners can also take their pick based on the cuisine they’re interested in.

A typical menu for the 3-course meal includes an appetiser or a selection or appetisers, a main followed by a dessert. Drink pairings are sometimes included. At Marugoto Shokudou, a Japanese restaurant located within walking distance from Ang Mo Kio MRT, for instance, appetisers such as blue fin tuna and Japanese smoked duck breast are served with plum sake.
