Prima, one of Singapore’s Heritage Brands, has embarked on a new chapter with the opening of their first homegrown up-market bakery cafe in Star Vista. From the décor to the finest details of the crockery and cutlery, iBake combines art and design with premium quality bread, pastries and sandwiches over gourmet coffee and other trendy beverages.

The new iBake marries the best of French and Japanese influences to produce a distinctive special range of freshly baked gourmet artisanal breads, buns, pastries, gourmet sandwiches and hamburger. You can look forward to an array of crisp buttery croissants, viennoiseries, sandwiches and baguettes. One interesting and must-try item is iBake’s Petite Pastry Basket which consists of an assorted trio of fragrant buttery choice of Anchovy croissant, pain Au Chocolat croissant and French croissant in nice petite bite size. The Anchovy croissant is a light and buttery mini croissant infused with a mild hint of fresh Basil and savoury anchovy right in the middle for a beautifully subtle salty finish. For a hearty meal, iBake’s unique dine-in specialties include its hearty Seafood Chowder or chicken Pot Pies ($6.80) and healthy tasty delights like Tofu Avocado sandwich ($8.50), an ensemble of pan-fried tofu, avocado, enoki mushrooms with an inviting sesame sauce. Or the Caprese Tartine ($8.50)with a medley of grilled capsicums, eggplant, zucchini, olive pate, sundried tomato and garlic olive oil lavished with mozzarella cheese and fresh basil leaves for a beautiful myriad of flavours with a hint of natural sweetness on a bed of crusty toast.
