Food markets are a feast for all senses, a celebration of colours and flavours. From Queen Victoria Market in Melbourne, Australia to Chelsea Market in New York and Borough Market in London, these are just a few famous markets outside of Singapore. Now Singapore has its very own wholesome market, called PasarBella.
Opened with much fanfare at The Grandstand (formerly Turf City) in early May, this Singapore’s version of a farmers’ market is inspired by the famous markets in major cities around the world. Occupying 30,000 square foot at The Grandstand, there are currently more than 30 stalls from around the world including a seafood market, a deli, wine section, a coffeeshop, a beer shop, organic fruits and produce, small bites, fresh fruits, global cuisines and other personal services.
Curious what the market has to offer? Watch our videos below and take a quick tour of PasarBella, Singapore’s first farmers’ market! If not, make a trip to PasarBella with your friends and family to check out the offerings and bask in the rustic interiors and reminisce the simpler days of yesteryear.
