Saveur opens new outlet at Far East Plaza

Saveur (pronounced as sah-vere, meaning flavour in French), which has garnered great reviews since its move to Purvis Street, has opened its second outlet at Far East Plaza this week.

Owned and ran by two young aspiring chefs, Joshua Khoo and Dylan Ong, this casual chic and affordable French eatery has taken over the space previously occupied by Old Town White Coffee and Carl’s Junior. Saveur at Far East Plaza continues to serve up quality French fare at unbelievable prices.

The must-tries at Saveur include the signature angel hair pasta tossed with chilli oil, finely chopped Japanese konbu and sakura ebi with minced pork sauce ($4.90; see main image), the 30g pan-seared duck liver (foie gras) served with creamy lentils and pickled pearl onion ($7.90), the classic French duck leg confit served with homemade mashed potato, sauté shiitake mushroom, orange segments and orange infused natural jus ($10.90), the chicken thigh roulade with foie gras stuffing served with creamy basmati rice and parmesan sauce ($9.90) and the pistachio panna cotta topped with grounded and caramelised pistachio ($6.90).
