Tandoor North Indian Restaurant, a veteran in the Singapore Indian food scene since 1985, the restaurant has been whipping up delicious, authentic North Indian cuisine at affordable prices.
After 28 years in Singapore’s dining scene, this culinary gem at Holiday Inn Singapore Orchard City Centre will be undergoing the equivalent of a Botox shot – a S$1 million renovation starting mid-April this year. Before going on a million dollar makeover, the restaurant is treating its fans and diners to an elaborate 12-dish set menu which includes the restaurant all-time favourites at only $28nett from now to 14 April 2013.
Indulge in traditional, classic, authentic North Indian dishes such as Smoked Tomato Shorba (a light soup made with extract of tomatoes infused with smoky flavours of cloves and bay leaves), Malmali Seekh Kebab, Briyani served with Tandoori Chicken, multani paneer tikka (thin slices of paneer stuffed with a mushroom mixture, folded and coated in a besan mixture – see main photo above), Mahi Rai (cod fillet marinated and cooked in tandoor), Paneer ka Soola (cottage cheese marinated and grilled in Tandoor grill) and more.
The restaurant will reopen in June 2013 with a brand new contemporary look. You can look forward to new dishes created by the new chef who recently joined the team. As part of the re-opening promotion, you will get to enjoy a Welcome Treat at $48nett when the restaurant re-launches in June. The menu will include a degustation of the Chef’s signature creations and a free flow of house wine. Welcome Treats are available via pre-paid booking from now to 14 June and will be served from 15 June to 31 July.
