From 15 to 21 March 2013, the café will be serving the splendours of the sea in a tantalizing array of creative dishes to satisfy your seafood cravings.
Be prepared to delve into a refreshing spread of oceanic cuisine such as freshly picked cold favourites such as Snow Crab, Scallop on Shell and Baby Lobster. For a taste of Japanese flavour, be bowled over by a bountiful array of Salmon Sashimi, Izumi-Dai Sashimi skillfully marinated with Japanese dressing and Limpet with Japanese Cucumber in Hot Sauce.
For a healthier choice, go for a delectable range of green bites featuring Spicy Lobster Salad with Roasted Root Vegetables and Scallop with Asparagus Salad. The sumptuous spread also offers hot soups such as Seafood Bouillabaisse, Fish Maw and Crab Meat Soup and Crab Bisque. Other highlights include Prawn with Celery in XO Sauce, Slipper Lobster in Black Bean Sauce, Black Pepper Bamboo Clam and the ever- popular Chilli Crab with Mantou.
Avid seafood lovers will also get to enjoy Ellenborough Market Café’s local and Peranakan (Straits Chinese or Nonya) specialties such as the hearty Oyster Omelette, Penang Fried Kway Teow, Ayam Buah Keluak and Babi Pongteh.
And everyone should be sure to save room for irresistibly indulgent desserts like Muah Chee, Mango Mousse Cake, Crème Brûlée, Sweet Potato Soup, Bubur Cha Cha and Ellenborough Market Café’s signature Durian Pengat.
The Sensational Seafood buffet is priced at $58++ per adult and $29++ per child (4 to 12 years old) and it is available for dinner from Mondays to Sundays. If you’re HSBC cardholders, one dines for free with every three paying adults.
