Besides all you can eat buffet specials on National Day, restaurants around town are also offering great value set meals promotion to celebrate Singapore’s 47th birthday. We sussed out the best set meals for you to indulge on 9 August.

Located at One Fullerton, OverEasy is a great place to dine and watch the fireworks in their full glory on 9 August. To celebrate the nation’s birthday, this American diner is offering a three-course set dinner at $42++, where you get to try their American favourites with a Singaporean twist such as crispy salted egg calamari ($16) and a thick and creamy red bean milkshake ($12). Do book early, as such venues always get booked out fast. A minimum spend of $98++ per pax will apply for reservations. Cover charge of $25 nett applies for walk-in diners, which includes a drink of your choice.

Singapore’s latest rooftop restaurant, Zafferano, is another great venue to celebrate the nation’s birthday. Perched at the top floor (43rd floor) of the Ocean Financial centre in Collyer Quay, this Italian restaurant and bar boasts a spectacular city skyline and dining experience. This National Day, indulge in Zafferano’s four-course dinner at $98++ per person, which include fresh burrata cheese, homemade tagliolini pasta with seafood, zucchini & cherry tomatoes, a choice of pan-fried tenderloin US beef (120g) or seared blue fin tuna loin and the classic Italian dessert – tiramisu. After dinner, you can head to the roof terrace to enjoy the spectacular fireworks with a glass of their signature Grappa-based cocktail.

Take in the awe-inspiring bay and city views as Chef de Cuisine Lee Bennett presents a seven-course menu fitting for a grand finale of fireworks. Indulge in the tasting of beetroot with Braeburn apple, aged balsamic dressing, St. Maure goat’s cheese and toasted pine kernels; wild mushroom consommé and quail tortellini; smoked haddock and spring onion risotto with shellfish glaze; angus beef fillet and braised shoulder, wilted spinach, celeriac and pan-seared foie gras and end off on a sweet note with a rhubarb crumble and “chocolate lava” with Okubo blood peach sorbet.

Chef Daniel of Chef Daniel’s Kitchen at the new Bugis+ mall has designed a National Day three-course menu to celebrate the nation’s 47th birthday.  Available from 9 to 31 August an priced at $88++ (for 2 pax), the set menu includes dishes which boast ‘Singaporean flavours’ using his distinctive brand of East-meets-West style, such as Duck Saté on Bamboo Skewer, Stewed Chicken in Superior Broth with Seasonal Vegetable and Black Truffle and Angel Hair Pasta with  Shredded Chicken and Prawn in Tamarind Reduction.
